Who says an office needs to limited to neutral tones. This recent fit-out for a customer in Cairns is a shining example of how introducing colour can completely transform the mood of a commercial space. The furniture fit-out shown here was part of an extensive building renovation which included height adjustable desks, acoustic privacy screens and ergonomic office chairs.

Operating in the healthcare industry, this customer wanted to deliver a sense of calm to their workplace, specifying green for the office chair upholstery and on the acoustic desk screens. Newart's project manager, Sharon, worked closely with the customer throughout the planning process, procuring furniture that was both customisable and suited to the application and budget. The selected office chairs were Rexas, with the custom green fabric only adding around 10% to their cost. Vicinity Nook privacy screens were also specified in green and the height adjustable desks were sourced from our own Newart-branded range. The bold use of colour within the space not only helped change up the mood of the office but also referred back to business' brand colour.
