'Win a private chef' winners
Our Newart Nardi hospitality furniture competition drawn

Congratulations to the winner of our 'Win a private chef' competition, the resort manager at the Ingenia Holiday Park in Cairns. Generously, the winner gifted his prize to four of his lucky staff members. The prize recipients enjoyed a wonderful dining experience under the stars at Ellis Beach with a three course meal  prepared by acclaimed French chef Nicolas from C'est Bon restaurant in Cairns. The event began with canapes and champagne served as the  guests relaxed on Nardi Alfa sunloungers watching the sun set. Chef Nicolas used drift wood found on the beach as a serving platter for the canapes - a creative food presentation idea if ever there was. Dinner was then served, with the guests invited to take their Nardi Net seats overlooking the beach. A delicious entree of  champagne butter poached red claws was served by service professional Kevin (yes, we'd never met a Frenchman named Kevin either), matched with a delightful 'The Architect' Chardonnay by Philip Shaw. The main course of beef cheek, braised  for 8 hours and served on a bed of garlic mash with fried shallots, garlic brussel sprouts and a red wine sauce was accompanied with a sensational Pigeoulet des Bruniers. A classic French dessert, the creme brulee, completed the evening.

Fortunately, for this unpredictable time of year in Far North Queensland, even the weather was perfect. The C'est Bon catering team were a delight to work with and provided an amazing dining experience. Even packing up at the end of the evening was a breeze, with the Nardi outdoor furniture easily carried up from the the beach and loaded into our van.

The event was a huge success with the guests lavishing praise on all involved. The Newart team look forward to delivering another exciting 'brand experience' soon.
